It has been a week since I had the privilege of sharing my thoughts with students of the computer science batch hosted by LetsUpgrade and ITM Skills University. The discussion traversed various realms, from research methodologies and strategic planning to core leadership principles. In this reflective blog post, I aim to capture the key insights and personal takeaways from this enriching experience.

Following are the themes that I had great conversations with the students and loved their interest, participation, and engagement.
Journey and Overcoming Obstacles
I talked about my obstacles before I was able to attain my current position. I emphasized that success in the industry is not confined to academic credentials but is shaped by one’s skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
Leadership and Problem-Solving
“I offered practical insights into cultivating leadership qualities and refining problem-solving strategies. Upholding integrity and staying true to one’s character were highlighted as integral components of successful leadership, leaving them with valuable principles to incorporate into their own journey.”
Enhancing Research Techniques
We delved into enhancing research techniques, refining personal methodologies, and strategic planning using to-do lists. I provided insights into methodical decision-making and the value of trial and error for effective learning.

Effective Communication
I shared with the student ten tips for executing effective communication.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience for me to share what I have learned over the past twenty years! I believe that my personal stories, combined with practical advice, will assist the students in shaping their careers.
